Winter Impressions by Alan Maley. This gorgeous music box was designed by internationally acclaimed artist, Alan Maley. Alan is best known and highly regarded for his sensitive interpretation of life at the turn of the century. During his lifetime, Alan quickly distinguished himself as one of the foremost artists in the motion picture industry where his works appeared in many of the best known and most beloved movies of our time. He was awarded an Oscar for his visual effects in the Walt Disney production of Bednobs and Broomsticks.
While busily involved in the music industry, Alan found time to devote to his own paintings gaining inspiration for his subject of choice, the turn of the century, from researching motion picture sets in that period. Alan�s untimely passing in 1995 has left a huge void in the world of art. Fortunately he left a legacy of unpublished art that has permitted his family to continue to provide his beautiful images which are eagerly sought by collectors throughout the world.
